Physical Description

Bird mounted in an awkward perching position on a branch in a glass-domed diorama. The head is downward and turned toward its PR side and the tail is upwards. The dorsal surface is facing forwards in the diorama, and with the wings spread and the tail fanned it is showing the maximum amount of its plumage. The diorama includes dried plants, painted fake rocks, and plastic fern leaves.
