Physical Description
Jambiya'. Arab knife. Distinctive, curved blade, double-edged from halfway to point. Central rib running length of blade, two ribs on edges, running to halfway. Gilted and chased panel at hilt end in form of tiger and stylised antelope (?). White bone, horn or ivory hilt, plain, waisted in centre, wider at blade end and pommel. Green velvet on wood scabbard.
