Small tea cup and saucer set which have matching floral/foliage motifs. Thick boarders contain the designs which have a light pink background while the filigree has been completed in a metallic dark purple.The rims of both objects are also painted in the metallic purple colour. The metallic surface colouring may be attributed to the set being of the "Sunderland lustre" variety of pottery, which is handwritten on the back of the saucer.
