Physical Description
Pounamu/nephrite, kawakawa variety. Some cloudy patches as well as dark specks are evident in this pounamu indicative of a South Westland source. This side portion consists of one arm (from shoulder down) resting on thigh of leg. Foot of leg is not in evidence. This piece is smoothly shaped on both sides. Some feather fracatures and medium translucency.
