Spear, D88.116

Spear with wooden shaft, metal spear head and metal spike at butt end. Just above spike is area of coiled copper alloy ribbon, then a carved wooden ovoid shaped bulge, followed by a smaller area of coiled copper alloy ribbon. Below spear head is area of coiled copper alloy ribbon. Metal spear head has long metal shaft that is socketed on to wooden shaft and held in place with nail. Blade is leaf shaped.
