Physical Description

Mouth of bowl has shallow flared lip. Bowl is round and angles off from base of stem at roughly 45 degree angle. Small conical resting stand at base of bowl. Likely a stem - perhaps wood(?)/bamboo(?) would have been inserted in neck/short stem of bowl to provide an extended stem/neck. Pipe has whitish wash (ash?) on exterior.

Original description refers to pagan. Several groups/tribes live on Jos Plateau who are traditional/animists, i.e. not Muslim or Christian. Frequently have been referred to as pagan.
