Plate, Commemorative, F2008.68

Otago Officer's Club, Inc commemorative plate 1925 - 1985. A dark green and yellow band is folded around the rim of the plate with four gilded medals suspended from it. There is a profile of George the Vt in centre. Surrounding the profile is the words "GEORGIVS V BRITT:OMN:REX ET INDIMP:". Other text on the front of the plate: (vertical) "1925" and "1985" and (horizontal) "T.D." and "E.D.". On the rear of the plate are countries inscribed around the edge with "THE TERRITORIAL DECORATION" in the well. Also inscribed in the middle near the bottom edge of the plate is the words "The Otago Officers' Club (Inc) 1049".
