A large circular brass mirror. Inscribed with four sets of Chinese characters.

Research Notes

"Zhuangyuan Jidi"[ described or celebrated the fact that the one concerned had won as the top student in a national exam to be an official ] Zhuangyuan means the one who wins the highest score in a National examination to be recruited as an official who also successfully passed a "palace interview" by the emperor and listed as the top. Jidi means "reach the level". —Delphi Fang
