Bowl, Dish, F75.146

Stoneware, press moulded dish. Has two straight slabs used as feet on the base. Bowl has been formed into a long octagonal shape with short, straight walls. Inside is a stencilled design consisting of three thick, straight horizontal bands, joined in the centre with a wide vertical band. Potter's mark incised on the base. Outside glaze is a brown/black Tenmoku. The feet are unglazed Inside time is Tenmoku. A grey/white glaze has been sprayed first in the centre, then a cut stencil has been applied, with a speckled brown/green has been sprayed over top.
