Physical Description
Long, slender, single-edged, curved steel blade. Widest at hilt, tapers to thin point. Fluted. Engraved inscriptions on fuller. Hilt white horn or bone, black horn, riveted to flat tang. Decorated gold braid, star-shaped designs on white horn. Hilt straight, uniform, slightly rounded at pommel. Red leather, scabbard, plain; leather belt-mount at hilt end.
