Canterbury Mudfish, Neochanna burrowsius, VT3200

Physical Description

Cast of freshwater Canterbury mudfish suported by 2 pieces of wire on the right side of the body. Specimen has a dark yellow dorsal surface and light yellow/light green side with grey patterns. Ventral surface is cream. Fins are light brown in colour and small in size. Caudal fin is broad, dark yellow in colour with grey speckles. Operculum margin is red. Eyes are black with a green ring around them.
