Ancient Egyptian Life and Mummification

Who is wrapped in cloth, wears a mask and has lived at the Otago Museum for over 100 years?

Meet our real Egyptian mummy and explore Ancient Egyptian beliefs in the afterlife, their artefacts and their traditions. Discover has science allowed us to find out what she looked like and how she lived over 2,000 years ago.

This programme includes a Starlab session and simulated mummification ceremony.
