Pre-European Māori Food Gathering

Journey through our Southern Land, Southern People and Tāngata Whenua galleries to find out how pre-European Māori traditionally sourced their food. Identify the tools required for a hunting trip and discover how we can learn about food preparation in the past. Compare this with food gathering in other cultures with an optional Food Gathering Throughout the Ages module.
