EXPLORE IN THE ‘OM TECH TENT’
Sound is amazing. But what exactly is sound? How is it made? How does it travel?
From feeling its vibrations to seeing flaming waves dance to music, use your senses to explore the world of sound. Learn about friction, centripetal force and sound amplitude by creating your own musical instruments to take home.
Take a closer look at the sun with solar telescopes, make your own planisphere and let off a water rocket with the Dunedin Astronomical Society.
Join the Otago Museum team for a day of hands-on fun, explorations and scientific wonder.
