Perpetual Guardian Planetarium show and stargazing
Join us under the dome for a special look at the night sky in celebration of the spring equinox, when day and night are equal length and we look ahead to the longer days of summer. Then hop on our bus for a stargazing trip with the Otago Museum and Dunedin Astronomical Society.*
Admittance to planetarium restricted to ages 3 years and over.
*You will be contacted closer to the event with further information in the case of unsuitable weather.
7pm–9pm, Monday 24 September Limited numbers, bookings essential.
We recommend you buy your tickets online before your visit, as we can't otherwise guarantee the availability of shows.
Terms of entry:
Restricted to ages 3 years and up.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring your online confirmation to the Museum Shop to receive your physical tickets.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to receive your physical tickets from the Shop and queue for the show; no late admissions.
Some viewers may experience motion sickness. Please follow instructions of the planetarium guide;
No admissions to the theatre if you exit during the show.
