Pipe, D2012.64

Pipe consists of bowl and stem. Pipe is effectively 2/3 stem and 1/3 bowl. The diamtre of the round stem gradually increases from the stem mouth to the base of the bowl where it angles off at approx. 110 degrees to continue widening to its full extent at the bowl mouth. Stem is hollow through to base of hollow bowl. A dark reddish 'wash' runs around the lip of the bowl. The same dark reddish 'wash' runs from the narrow end of the stem approximately 1/2 the length of the stem. The remaining exterior surface of the pipe is lighter red. Pipe gives general appearance of having not been used. Pipe has likely been 'brush' fired, i.e. fired at low temperature.
