Shamshir'. Fine curved Damascus (?) blade, waved edges, fuller parcel-engraved, bifurcated 10cm from tip to blade. Thin tapered languet. Iron cross-guard tapered to acorn-shaped knobs. Hilt and pommel white horn or ivory, riveted, curled at pommel, hole in centre, ringed in brass. Longitudinal brass straps around hilt.
