Red slate ripi??. Top squared (chipped) with sides straight and lying at angle to top. Bottom - sides broken only small part original edge intact, difficult to determine original shape, presumably rounded
Several chips, angular grinding marks visible Perforated from both side.Shallow break sheared on sub-surface grain running from near proximal end, through perforation to other side and glued.
