Physical Description

Nephrite/pounamu/inaka variety with kahurangi variety towards blade, hafted to toki handle D21.223. Flattened in sections with side edges reduced to ridge. Chipped around working edge and corners. Sides taper in towards butt end. Large perforation (actual hole small) and tied with line to handle blue/green colouration. Several cracks.

Handle round in section. Toki mounted on platform with wheku style head beneath and human figure with protruding tongue with manaia extending to and biting mouth of figure. Paua shell eyes.Toki hafted with yellow nylon string. Proximal end of handle has wheku style head.
