Physical Description

Talwar'. Curved fluted blade. Pitted and weathered. Guarded hilt with single finger-guard, tapered to knob ends, languet tapered to three point crown (?) at apex, oval grip. Disc-shaped pommel topped by knobbed hemisphere and riveted ring. All decorated by gilted, chased symmetrical floral designs. No scabbard. c.f. Egerton, pg. 138, pg 137, pl XIV, No. 729.
