Physical Description

Pounamu/Nephrite hei-tiki, the head pointed and inclined on its left shoulder, the arms akimbo, the brows, nose, ribs, elbows and feet indicate with three toes either sided. Elbows accentuated and arms positioned towards rear of thighs with three fingered hands indistinctly visible on thighs. The mouth and tongue detail worn, the eyes cut for insertion of sealing wax of which there is no trace. Genitals not indicated. Suspension hole in "loop" on top of head drilled from both sides. Older scarf cut on back of hei tiki which has likely been heat treated.
