Physical Description
Bowenit/pounamu, tangiwai variety, pendant in form of a bird. Proximal (is perforated end) sides parallel; shaped to a rounded point ("tail") on right hand side, distal end. Left side curves to greater degree than right side. Proximal end rounded & perforated vertically - hole drilled from both sides. [Shape] in cross section. Proximal end discoloured, possible heated by fire.
