Jug, F38.12

Large jug, bulbous in shape which is imprinted with a relief pattern that emulates that of a barrel and wood grain, with greenery and some kind of fruit or nut. This motif is repeated on the lid. Body of jug is cream coloured, edge and spout are decorated with a brown glaze which extends down the handle.
