Physical Description

Ivory figurine of an old man with a bald head and a long beard. He wears a loosely belted robe over loose fitting trousers. The chest and stomach are exposed revealing pendulous breasts and a pot belly. His hair is done up into 'bows' above his ears. The right hand is raised up and is holding a short stick - all that remains of an object that extended above the hand but has broken off (broken at time of original purchase cf. Photo file P148). The left hand is on the belly and is holding a ball (?). Figure has a small carved wooden stand.
