Wooden carved group of figures with gold leaf and black lacquer. Rectangular base has dragon coming out of water or clouds. On top of the base, amidst ornate carvings of foliage or flames, are three figures. Large central Buddha figure standing with one hand up, palm front, the other hand down, palm out. Both hands have gesture of loop formed by index figure and thumb. Leaf shaped background behind him. Either side of this figure are two smaller figures. Each figure has an elaborate headdress and necklace of wirework and beads. Proper left figure holds a lotus shaped item. Proper right figure has hands in front of body, palms pressed together.
