Physical Description

Set of Japanese armour comprising of a cuirass (torso armour, or do), shoulder guards (sode), apron (hai-date), leg guards (sune-ate), waist protectors, socks and shoes. Armour pieces are generally lacquered iron, dark brown with a streaky gold pattern. Dark blue cord.The sune-ate and hai-date has orange woven fabric, with a gold thread pattern of flowers. The arm pieces have chain mail over a padded backing in the same fabric. The front of the arm pieces have a variety of symbols (mon?) including flowers and a vase shape. Do has padding under shoulder supports and behind neck.
