Perpetual Guardian Planetarium

Spacetronauts are taking off in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium! Hitch a ride with our planetarium pilots on an adventure through the solar system. 

Take a close-up look at the sun, fly through the rings of Saturn and check out our very own Pale Blue Dot as we zoom out to the edges of the galaxy.

11.30am daily, Friday 14 – Thursday 20 April

45 minutes long

No age restriction. Show designed for families with pre-schoolers and primary school–aged children.




We recommend you buy your tickets online before your visit, as we can't otherwise guarantee the availability of shows.

Bring your online confirmation to the Museum Shop to receive your physical tickets.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to receive your physical tickets from the Shop and queue for the show; no late admissions.

Some viewers may experience motion sickness.  Please follow instructions of the planetarium guide;

No admissions to the theatre if you exit during the show.
