Hands-on workshop

Candles have been used to illuminate human activities for more than 5000 years. The first candles may have been made by the Ancient Egyptians who used torches made from reeds soaked in melted animal fat.
Make your own Egyptian-inspired beeswax candle to keep or to give away.
Adult supervision required for children 14 years and under; children under 10 years may need guardian assistance. Dress for mess.
