Eastern great egret, Ardea modesta, AV3367

Physical Description

White heron mounted in an upright flat-footed walking position on a wooden base with moss on it. Wings are folded back against its body and head is facing forward. Neck is in an elongated S-curve. Loosely barbed wing feathers are hanging down to its sides.
