Spear, D18.77

Single bladed spear, with leaf shaped head. Ridge runs vertically up centre of blade, with two semicircles incised into surface. Occurs on both sides. Bottom of spear head where it joins to wood has a protruding lip. Coiled gold coloured metal surrounds the wood component where the metal head finishes. At the bottom end of the spear is a ridged component, constructed by winding very thick metal around the end portion of the wood.
