Physical Description

Two piece wooden pukaea bound with fibre at six points. Larger mouth piece at distal end has centre ridge with surfaces planing away to edge. Finger hole in centre top in shape of mouth with one defined carved line following mouth shape and a fainter second line above top of mouth only. Wooden surface polished. Third binding from top (above mouth) has five staggered ends tucked under.
