Physical Description
Wooden taiaha without feathers and paua shell eye inserts missing. Two finely executed and matching double spirals on both sides of arero - tongue. Highly polished surface on forehead and blade. Polishing scratches run diagonally on wider blade end and longitudinal as blade narrows.Only 1/2 the head is carved - eyebrows, eyes and mouth. Rounded base.
