Putorino, Cast, D38.110
Physical Description
Plaster cast putorino. Ornately carved with seven bindings holding it together. Lozenge pattern dominates surface design however double spirals cover front face below at distal end below koruru style head with protruding tongue which arches out to join the main body. Eyes of head figures indicate paua insets around eyes on original. Proximal end figure much smaller than figure at distal end.
