Horse hair. Rod made in 2 parts. Upper very rigid and covered with woven horse hair, patterned with circle of four multicoloured diamonds on black. Cap - multicoloured at proximal end with hide thong loop attached. Other end has multicoloured sleeve and tassel. Lower rod flexible and covered with brown/cream and various in between shades of woven horse hair. Black sleeve and multicoloured tassel. Hide loop extends below sleeve and though this is inserted a hide strap held together with hide.
