Physical Description

Red figure stamnos. Two painted scenes between large palmette motifs. Scenes are bordered at the top with a tongue motif, and at the bottom with a line. Horizontal handle on each side. Narrow pedestal foot, wide rim.
One side of the vase shows Athena and Eros standing beside a column with a statue of Athena. On the other side is Herakles with lion skin and club.
