Physical Description

Brass figure of 2 people mounted on a horse. The front figure is Shiva as Kandeh Rao, a manifestation of Shiva that was worshipped in western India. He has four arms, the upper right holds the trisulu or trident and the lower left a bowl. The other arms hold other objects which may be weapons. Behind Shiva is his consort Parvati holding an ?axe and a ?dish. The horse is a stallion with bridle, girth and stirrups represented. The left side of the horse is slightly lover that the right.
