Physical Description

Four case inro with netsuke. Inro - black lacquer. Scene depicts 5 oxen beneath flowering plum tree in gold takamakiye and nashiji. Rectangular in shape, oval in cross-section. Both ends flat and in gold takamakiye. Attached with white cord (threaded through four corners) to ivory netsuke. Netsuke in form of two men - one small, lying on a table with carved legs; the other rests his elbows on end of table. Ivory, uncarved base.
