Platter

Physical Description

Shallow platter with inscribed with designs. The design is four arches; in between the arches are "V" shaped lines, one on top of another. The arches are surrounded by a line of arrows. The base is a red earthenware colour with a black oxide flange. Inside of the plate is a red clay colour, a dark red slip and a black slip. The rim is black and the arrows around the arches are black. The arches are black with raised white dots. Potters mark inscribed on the base.
