Physical Description

Pounamu/Nephrite, large. Lower portion inanga with upper head showing some kahurangi. Head turned to right. No sealing wax, peaked forehead with deep seated eyes. Pointed chin, nostrils indicated and forked tongue. Arms rest on thighs, legs brought together. Left leg broken off and remodelled. Edges of initial scarf evident on rear perforation above right eye, primarily drilled from back but finished from front. Medium translucency and some chatoyancy. Natural hair line crack on back near top of head.
