Feeling inspired by the design, art and craftwork in Hākui: Women of Kāi Tahu? Express your creative side with our school holidays programmes, from poi to plaiting, kete to kites.

 

Visit our Makerspace for self-guided and guided activities, or learn how to extract muka fibre, create manu aute kites and prepare feathers for weaving in hands-on workshops delivered by Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe and Waitaha weaver Amber Bridgman.
