Join millions of butterflies in their perilous journey to the remote mountain peaks of Mexico. Unravel the true and compelling story of an intrepid scientist’s 40-year search to find the monarchs’ secret hideaway, and be captivated by breathtaking cinematography from an award-winning team, including Oscar winner Peter Parks.
Experience the Flight of the Butterflies in the Perpetual Guardian Planetarium, then visit the butterflies in Tūhura's Tropical Forest with a combo pass.

Restricted to ages 3 years and up.
Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring your online confirmation to the Museum Shop to receive your physical tickets.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to receive your physical tickets from the Shop and queue for the show; no late admissions.
Some viewers may experience motion sickness. Please follow instructions of the planetarium guide;
No admissions to the theatre if you exit during the show.
